Temporary disconnection of Egypt

We regret to inform on temporary disconnection of the short code for subscribers of Egypt due to problems on mobile carriers' part. We ask those partners who use static instructions to immediately make all necessary changes to avoid possible misunderstandings with end-users. Payouts for messages sent till March 11 will be held in a usual way.

Egypt was added to the list of SmsCoin available countries in May 2009 with available tariff of 5.00 EGP. Though the number of active Internet users in Egypt is a little over 36% in comparison with other countries, we do our best to recover SMS payments in the country as soon as possible.

Short codes change in Ukraine

Due to disconnection of the short codes by one of Ukrainian mobile carrier we were impelled to refuse using and to disable the following short codes in our system: 4446, 4447, 4448, 4449, 4161. Starting March 1 2013 messages sent to these short codes won't be paid for.

We connected new short codes, so now 9 rates are available in Ukraine, from 1 to 50 UAH. The conditions for our partners remain the same. The partner's revenue share for the most popular rate of 30 UAH was increased up to 10%. For more detailed information on new tariffs, short codes and payout shares, please visit our website ("Coverage" - "Ukraine") or find it in rates scale.

We did everything possible to connect new short codes without delay in order to avoid any possible loss in income for those partners who have traffic from Ukraine. Therefore we insistently ask to make all necessary changes in the instructions on sending SMS for subscribers of all Ukrainian mobile carriers.

Happy New Year!

SmsCoin project wishes you Happy New Year! May the upcoming year bring you joy, wealth, and may all your beginnings be successful.

We traditionally give a summary of the departing year and we have a lot to be proud of. Moreover, this year SmsCoin has celebrated its 6th birthday. The year 2012 began with adding a new service – IVR (payment for services by means of an outbound call), thus giving the possibility for our partners to get higher revenue shares in comparison with Premium SMS. With the help of IVR service our partners attracted more clients and increased their income as well.

In 2012 we extended the coverage of SMS billing services by connecting the Republic of Cape Verde, and widened rate scales in the list of countries. Another important event is the launch of a new project – Bulkness which enables clients to provide SMS distribution at favorable prices in the territory of more than 200 countries throughout the world.

We wish you to be successful, financially prosperous and healthy! Sincerely yours, SmsCoin.
